Come create, play & connect with us!

Join Monochromatic Mommies for Autumn Adventures: Family Fun Night, a relaxed evening of purposeful play, creativity, and family connection.

This free community event is designed with children with developmental delays, disabilities, autism, and special needs in mind, while welcoming children of all ages and abilities, including siblings.

Autumn Adventures is part of Monochromatic Mommies' Early Access Support Program, which helps families connect with developmental resources, early supports, practical information, and opportunities to build community.

What to Expect

Families will enjoy two simple, hands-on fall activity stations:

🍂 Build-a-Scarecrow
Children can build and decorate their own paper scarecrow using different shapes, colors, and materials.

🎃 Pumpkin Patch Creations
Create a one-of-a-kind paper pumpkin using colors, silly faces, patterns, and plenty of imagination.

Our activities are intentionally simple so children can participate at their own pace and in their own way. There is no expectation to complete every activity or participate in a particular way.

More Than a Craft Night

Play can create opportunities to practice important developmental skills—and it doesn't have to be complicated or expensive!

Throughout the evening, our purposeful play activities will naturally encourage skills such as fine-motor development, hand-eye coordination, making choices, following directions, communication, creativity, and social interaction.

Children can create alongside other children, practice sharing space and materials, observe their peers, or simply enjoy being part of the environment in whatever way feels comfortable for them.

And while the kids create, parents and caregivers get to connect, too!

Meet other local families, enjoy time together outside of appointments and services, and learn more about resources and support available through Monochromatic Mommies.

Who Can Attend?

Everyone!

This event was intentionally created with families raising children with developmental delays, disabilities, autism, special needs, or children receiving or exploring Early Intervention services in mind.

However, a diagnosis is not required to attend. There are no age restrictions, and siblings are welcome.

Whether your family is already connected to services, wondering whether your child may benefit from additional developmental support, or simply looking for an inclusive place to spend time together, you're welcome to join us!

Create • Play • Connect • Grow

Admission is FREE, but space is limited so that we can provide a comfortable experience and prepare enough activity materials for participating families.

Registration is required. Please complete one registration per family and include everyone who will be attending.

Autumn Adventures is an Early Access Support Program experience presented by Monochromatic Mommies.
